Drug bust in Gurdon nets over 20 arrests | News
GURDON, Ark. (KTHV) - A small town in Clark County is rocked by a large drug bust that results in multiple arrests.
The Department of Justice held press conference Thursday afternoon about "Operation Ice Pick", a multi-agency drug investigation in Gurdon and surrounding areas.
Officers made more than 40 controlled drug purchases over this one year investigation. This morning authorities conducted six search warrants and seized $52,000 and substantial amounts of meth crack and marijuana.
Joyce Snow with the DOJ says a lot of activity happened near schools and playgrounds.
Grand Jury indictments have been unsealed and charged with federal drug trafficking offenses are:

- Samson Kadari
- Andrae Barnes
- Jerome Macon
- Kenyuan Morris
- Samuel Barrientos
Kennel, Kardari, and Barnes are brothers.
Those charged with state offenses are:
- Julian Marks
- James Campbell
- Chris Penny
- Teresa Grigsby
- Marcus Horton
- John Powell
- Thomas Gulley
- Bobby Charles
- Wheatie Wells
- Candelario Leon
- Bobby Holiman
- Carlton Marks
