Heat Advisory is in effect for much of the state through Monday evening. 

Monday:  Hot & Sunny.  High 100.  Feel Like Temp: 105-110 degrees.

Friday forecast 7/8

 Summer high pressure will slowly strengthen back into the state. As this happens, rain chances will diminish and heat will build into the weekend.

Look for highs to reach the upper 90's into the weekend and heat indices over 100-105 degrees.

Friday: Partly cloudy, High 96, 20% T'Storms.

Saturday: Partly cloudy hot & humid. High 96.

Winds down trees in Arkadelphia, cause traffic delays

ARKADELPHIA, Ark. (KTHV) -- Today's THV has received reports of strong wings blowing down trees in Clark county.

Severe thunderstorms in southwest Arkansas has downed trees and caused travel problems in on I-30 southbound between Arkadelphia and Caddo Valley.

Flash flooding has also been a concern for the southwestern part of the state. Look for thunderstorm activity to die out after sunset.
